If you are already on Goat Island and have some time to spare, why not visit the Three Sisters Island. The Three Sisters Island refers to a cluster of three small islands off the west side of Goat Island. It is accessible only from Goat Island and is linked to each other by pedestrian bridges. Besides being the best place to view the upper rapids of the Horseshoe Falls, it also supports a great variety of flora and fauna.
Tip: If you are holding a Trolley pass, you can board the Niagara Scenic Trolley at Terrapin Point to the Three Sisters Island just one stop away.

You can get very close to the falls at Three Sisters Island! These pictures were taken while standing on the boulders next to the flowing waters. There are no barricades here, and if you happen to take a misstep and fall into the waters, you will be swept over the Horseshoe Falls in no time!
Besides its stunning views of the upper rapids, the Three Sisters Island also offers a quiet sanctuary to take a slow leisurely walk. It is less popular than its relatively more famous counterparts, the perfect place to be far from the crowd.
